For sale we have a vintage violin and two bows. These are housed in a crocodile skin case with a velvet (or similar) soft green lining. There are two hidden compartments inside too for storage. We have been unable to find out a great deal about these items but they look to have both age and quality about them. The violin has a label inside which reads 'made by robert burrow/s' its hard to read as it is intricately hand written. under this it has 'lancaster' The total length of the Violin is 60cm. Width of 21cm at its widest point. It is inlayed with mother of pearl in a few locations. It appears to be free from damage except from at the bottom right of the front panel where it may have been repaired but it lools as though it may have had. It is in nice condition for an item which I believe has significant age. It has wear to the handle which i presume will have been from playing. The first Bow is made from dark wood with a mother of peral inlay in a couple of places. Its full length is 71cm. It looks very much like a quality item. The second bow to the untrained eye doesnt look quite as impressive but it is however inlayed with a strip of mother of pearl and is also stamped 'mill' (i think) see picture. As a non player i may not have provided the required information so if there is anything else you need to know please do not
