Fresh back from a pick is this beautiful, 1940's vintage, 4-drawer dresser with a burled wood and checkerboard inlay drawer fronts, along with a hand painted design. This is an exquisite piece manufactured by the Robert W. Irwin Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Makers of fine furniture from 1919 through the early 1950's.Drawers are all dovetail joinery and feature stiffeners in the centers. Dresser measures 36-1/2" wide, 21-1/2" deep and stands 45-1/2" tall. There are two 5-1/4" drawers over two 8-1/4" drawers. Is in great shape except for some deterioration of the laquer finish on the top. (Too many years under a cotton dresser scarf.)
