Vintage Robie Robot Mechanical Bank Radio Shack Mint Up for bid is this very unique mechanical bank called "Robie". Resembles a robot and was made by Radio Shack about 1970s. He is in fine working condition and runs on 1 AA battery (not included). Simply place a coin on the $ symbol and push down gently. His arm will rise as he drops the coin into his awaiting mouth with little red tongue. He will make a slight rocking motion and noise like he is chewing the coin as his eyeballs roll. He is quite entertaining to watch and save money with. Measures 4 ½ inches tall and in perfect condition with no flaws noted. He also has a demo button on off switch on his foot bottom.
