Spool beds are so popular and timeless in design. This one has nicely turned spindles and finial tops. The wood has a warm aged patina, which glows. T are some minor scuffs from age and use on rails, which can be polished up but most likely will be covered by a dust ruffle or bedspread. One rail has a bit on the inside that is missing but it doesn't affect the sturdiness or the look of the bed when the mattress is in.
