Vintage Ronson ESCORT Cigarette Lighter Case Combo
Vintage Ronson ESCORT cigarette lighter/cigarette case combo. Seems to be either a stainless steel or chromium exterior with an art deco graphic design on the interior. Quite hefty. Interior T-shaped spring bracket holds 10 regular size cigarettes. Lighter slides out to the right to add flint or fluid. Very nice condition with normal wear from use. The spring in the T-shaped bracket is tight and the exterior snap closure works nicely. I have not attempted to fill this with fluid to see if it works, but the wick and all other parts seem to be in fine condition. I believe this was made in the 1950's or 1960's. Bottom of slide-out lighter portion marked " Ronson R, (trademark R in a circle) Newark, N.J., USA, US Patent 2,481,195." Clasp on case is marked " R Ronson 4 ". T-bracket is marked "Ronson". Inside of case marked " R Ronson Escort". Measures 4-3/4 inches by 3-1/4 inches.I try and describe my items accurately and honestly, and strive for you to receive a product that meets or exceeds your expectations.
