Vintage Roof Top Rooster Weather Vane - Working and Complete! This is a vintage rooster weather vane from a farm in Indiana. It is made of cast aluminum, so it will never rust! It has been in use for many years, so the black paint has faded some. T are a couple of spots w the black paint has been rubbed off and the metal is showing. This can easily be repainted to correct this, if so desired. (SEE PICS) T is no damage or broken or missing parts to this weather vane, with the one tiny exception of a set screw head that is broken off , but still firmly holding one-half of the vane's direction pieces. The set screw for the other half of the directional piece is still t The rooster swivels freely around the main vertical rod, so yes, this is a working weather vane! The swivel base to attach to your roof's peak is also working and freely moves to whatever angle you desire to mount it. T are 2 cast aluminum gold-painted balls on this weather vane that are still in great shape. I will ship this disassembled to better protect it during shipping. See all lengths and item specs below.
