Vintage Miniature Liquor Bottle

This auction is for one of several great vintage miniature bottles that I have listed this week from the same estate. They come from a collector who purchased bottles from all over the place in the 1930s and 1940s. This particular bottle is a very nice pottery bottle with the original label on that front that indicates it is a Chateau Rosard California Burgundy liquor bottled in Jefferson, Wisconsin by Howard R Young. T is a Wisconsin tax stamp on the front that indicates it is from the 1930s. The bottle is made of ceramic and has a very rare figural football shape, complete with stitching! It is a brown color. Bottle is in excellent condition, but needs a cleaning. Measures about 2¾" tall. Bottle is empty, but has the original wax seal at the top. Note: The value of the item is in the collectible container, not its contents. The container has not been opened and any incidental contents are not intended for consumption. The item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container. The seller will take all appropriate steps to ensure that the buyer is of lawful age in the buyer and seller's jurisdiction (generally 21 years of age). International bidders please email me for shipping cost. Items less than US$20 can be shipped via regular Airmail. If the item is over US$20 insurance is required. It the item is over US$100 it must be sent via a service that allows for tracking. If the item is over $100 and insurance is requested it will be purchased from a 3 rd party insurer (find out more at ), which provides much better coverage. Shipping rules : If you happen to win more than one auction and live in the United States I will GREATLY discount shipping. Obviously, the discount will depend on the weight of each individual item and the physical characteristics of the shipment. Sorry, international shipping is quite a bit more expensive; however, I will still discount shipping. Return Policy : Returns are accepted on items in the event t is a discrepancy between the item description above and the actual condition of the item.
