The item you are bidding on is a vintage Rosbro Christmas Tree candy holder, popular in the 1940' and 50's. Manufactured by the Rosbro Plastics Company of Rhode Island. If my memory serves me correctly t were hard candies, jelly beans, ect packed around the bottom of the tree and then the whole thing enclosed in a plastic wrap covering. This particular tree was mine when I was a child and that was in the late 40's. It stands 6" high and is 1 1/2" accross the base. As far as I can tell t are no cracks in the plastic anyw The "Merry Christmas" greeting in red on the white base is starting to wear a little thin some places. The hallmark on the bottom of the base says "Rosbro Plastics Prov. R. I."Please contact me with any further questions you may have. If you have a need for any additional pictures please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate you. I am not an authority on vintage candy holders by any stretch of the imagination so if you question any of the information I have supplied please contact me an I will attempt to help you with your questions.
