Up for auction this week is this authentic Roseville art pottery 8 inch vase with two angular handles on either side of the top. It was manufactured by ROSEVILLE Art Pottery company in Roseville Ohio during the year 1933. It is in excellent condition without chips cracks or repairs. It has the original matte finish over layers of colors. The base color is brown with pale green yellow and a beautiful lilac color on the Wisteria flowers. The original model or style number is marked at the bottom #633. Actual measurements are: 8" high by 6 and ½"wide at the bottom. It tapers to a mouth opening at the top of 4 inches. This particular vase has been listed in Kovels 2007 Antiques and Collectibles price list for $646. Genuine Roseville Art Pottery from the 1933 era is becoming more difficult to obtain.
