This is their exceptional "ROSECRAFT-PANEL" Arts & Crafts pattern. I have seen other pieces in this pattern with lids, but this is the only example of this #293-8 shape that I have seen with its original lid. The dark brown glaze of the lid is a perfect match to the jar.The large photos show the jar from all sides. This is an early pattern, dating from 1920.
