This is a pair of beautiful vintage "Roseville" vases. According to what I have been able to find on these vases, they are the "Water Lily Bulbous Vases" which this pattern began in 1943. The lady I acquired these from said she got them in the 1950's so sounds like she was being honest with me. The bottoms are marked with the "Roseville" signature and U.S.A. with (75 - 7") on the bottom. These vases show minor wear. T is one vase as you can see from my pictures that has a little chip on the bottom of the base. This could easily be retouched. Also, around the top rim of that vase is some areas that looks like the pottery clay because it has a rough texture and it looks like some of the glaze has worn in those area. I was affraid to try and rub those rough areas because I didn't want to damage the vase. These are approx. 7 1/4" tall and the measure approx. 4 1/4" wide across the bottom base. They are such rich colors of teracota, greens, yellows and the bottom is a dark rich brown. Each one has little finger grips on the side. They would definately add to any Roseville collection. Due to this chip on the one vase, they are being sold "as is". Shipping & handling $10.00 US/ $20.00 Canada/ Will not ship to other countries due to customs. I do recommend shipping insurance $1.65 or tracking $ .65 for your own protection. I will not be responsible for items once they leave my control.
