for auction is RARE FIND. It was found in a basement of an elderly woman who passed on. Has All Bottom Markings as Well as Embossing on the Side (Upper Part of Base) -- (See Description below as well as pic's). EXTREMELY LOW START PRICE & NO RESERVE AUCTION SO NO GUESSING.
Beautiful Royal Copenhagen Denmark White Duck # 2122. We showed this to a colleague who said it was Very Rare as t is another Duck that is much more common (I forgot the # he had stated). This one with the Flower type Plant on the base he said was not common. Want to note he is just a colleague and by no means an expert -- just wanted to note what we were told -- sure collectors will know exact piece. As pic's can only begin to do justice to this piece many have been included showing all angles. Markings can be seen in pic, but will describe as all computers are different. Bottom is Stamed in Green Royal Copenhagen with the Crown Inside. Below that it reads Denmark. Below that in Blue are 3 wavy lines and a Blue Dot below that. To the left of the wavy lines it reads # 2122 in a Dark Green, and to the right of the wavy lines in blue it reas what looks like X and than an O or maybe A and than X (This is only a best guess). It is also embossed under the top of the green stamp the # 2122. It is Embossed on the upper side of base with what looks like an M going through an Oval (Assuming this may be artist, but not sure). Certain Collectors will know.It measures approx. 5.75" high from the surface. VERY GOOD CONDITION. Those who know our auctions know we try to take pic's of all angles and point out all. T is a flaw of note that we were told would be an easy fix for those in the know, but is not at all necessarty. Not exactly sure how to explain, but will do the best I can and included pic's. It is minor in the fact that we did not even notice it when purchasing due to lack of detraction from piece.T is a wing on the back with a piece to the left coming out of the bottom of wing (this is all exactly as should be). On the right a small piece of the feather has a small chipped/cracked off piece. Beloe that is whay looks like was another small piece coming up towards is that has come off. Were told wing could be rounded easily and other rounded area below rubbed off -- we do not get into repairs of any kind and leave that up to buyer, as stated above it is unnessary -- pic's show exactly what looks like. If we missed anything else it is extremely minor. As this is sold as is please ask any questions, and more pic's is never a problem.PLEASE SEE OUR FEEDBACK AND BID WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE.
