For auction is a vintageRoyal Windsorrooster and hen pair by Royal Copley from the 1940âe(tm)s or 1950âe(tm)s and in beautiful condition. Although the tags are missing, this pair is pictured in the Royal Copley Identification and Price Guide by Mike Schneider (1995, page 46, lower right). Both figurines are free of chips and cracks, but t is a small amount of crazing on the underside of both tails that I was not able to make visible in the photographs. T are several glaze imperfections from the manufacturing process that do not detract from the visual appeal of this lovely pair. The rooster measures 6-3/4âe at the tip of the tail, and the hen is 6âe tall at the top of her head. This will make a wonderful addition for a Royal Copley collector or to a collection of roosters and chickens. I will pack these securely for shipping, but insurance is recommended!
