Vintage Royal Dux Czechoslovakian Porcelain of Little Girl and Kitten ************************ The Royal Dux porcelain manufactory in Duchcov ( Dux ) was founded in the year 1853. Since 1900 it has been using its traditional trade mark made from rose: Colored material in the form of a triangle with the inscription ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA porcelain and an acorn. This trade mark is still used up to this day. The Royal Dux Porcelain factory was awarded the Grand Prix prize at the world exhibition in St. Louis in 1904, silver medal at the exhibition in Milan in 1906 and the gold medal at the exhibition in Liberec in Czech Republic. I have for auction a beautiful little girl and her kitten. It looks like it's feeding time and the the pair couldn't be sweeter. I have taken lots of pictures so you can see the details and the delicate coloring. T are inscribed, embossed and printed numbers on the bottom; all under the glaze. Even the original gold foil triangle tag is still attached to the top of the base. The little girl stands approximately 6" tall from her head to the bottom of the base and the base is approximately 3 3/4" X 2 1/2".
