ITEM DESCRIPTION This unique set includes a very stylish tapered batter bowl, syrup pitcher with original lid (no dents) and the coordinating electric waffle maker with pristine porcelain insert and Art Deco styled black bakelite handles. During the Depression years these were considered top of the line luxury goods and, by industry standards, were not produced in very great quantities. I have never set a complete set on EBAY before this. Made in the late 1920s by the Royal Rochester Company the “royalite” line was guaranteed never to be affected by heat or cold. This is one of the more costly Fraunfleter-manufactured pieces, the waffle iron has a porcelain insert. This set was a Wedding Gift to my Grandmother & Grandfather. I have owned, used and loved these pieces for years. The waffle iron was working at Christmas, but I can’t find the cord. A modern cord is safer than a vintage one if you plan on cooking with this wonderful appliance. A replacement cord can be purchased on line at /Percolator+%7C+Appliance+Cords+2.5%27.html or other sites. You will also want to re-season it. You can find instructions for seasoning cast iron online. I believe, but am not certain, that this is the Royal Bouquet pattern – if you have more information, please email me! I make every effort to represent each item accurately and thoroughly, including measurements and pictures. Items show a certain degree of age-appropriate wear that is not stated in the description.
