A sweet little Countess breakfast set in the "Old Cottage Chintz" pattern, made in England by Royal Winton c. 1930s. The set is complete and original and all pieces carry the same backstamp. I can only find two flaws to report. I have owned this set for years and never knew they were t until now so I guess they must not be too obvious! The inside edge of the teapot has an old 1/8 inch nick that has darkened over time. It is in no way visible when the lid is in place. The toast rack has had a repair at some point in time that is very difficult to see. It was a clean break and is very tightly glued. At first I thought it was just a hairline. The set shows little or no sign of wear and has nice bright colors and a shiny glaze. T is some very fine crazing visible on the unpatterned areas of the tray and the cup. A beautiful set! Everything I list is from my personal excess of collections and accumulations from my smoke-free home. I do not claim to be an expert on any item I have for sale. INSURANCE is required for all packages with a value over $50.00. Insurance is optional for all other packages. I normally ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
