From the Arts & Crafts period of American decorative arts, these hand-hammered copper bookends were made about 1920. Each one is embossed on the front side at the bottom, with the Roycroft trademark. A rose design trails down the length of the sides to a curlicue. They have a lovely, aged patina and little wear; no apparent flaws or dings. T is thick green felt on the bottoms. The bookends are 8-3/4 inches tall, 5-3/4 inches wide, 3-3/4 inches deep. I bought these in a small antiques shop in Georgetown, Colorado, high in the Rocky Mountains several years ago. I was intrigued with the "cowboy" feel to them (hammered copper). They look good and are truly effective as bookends! My Policies I accept PayPal, cashiers' checks and money orders. Sorry, no personal checks. Buyer will be invoiced within two days of the end of the auction. Mailed payments must be received within 7 days of the date of the auction invoice. You do not need to wait for an invoice to make payment. Buyer pays for shipping, packaging and insurance, which will be included in the invoice total. I will accept returns within seven (7) days of receipt, for a full refund less shipping costs. Please let me know if I can provide you with any more details and/or photos. Thank you!
