*** International Bidders please confirm shipping before bidding. *** You are bidding for a genuine Bergans of Norway vintage framed rucksack in canvas and leather. This has been in my family for the last 60 years, this item dates back to the 1950s, but could even be from the 1940s. Rucksacks made by the Bergan Company were used by the British and Norwegian Commandos (Heroes of Telemark) during WW2. This sack is in a light colour canvas not the usual dark green, maybe snow warfare camo, alpine climbing skiing etc. Due to its age there will be signs of staining, wear and tear. The straps and leather is in good conditions. The canvas has a couple of small wear holes see photos, these could be repaired or even used as is. Some of the rivets have been replaced years ago. Look at the photos to get a better idea of condition. International shipping reflects the size and weight of the packaged item, It will be sent in a strong cardboard box.
