This vintage new never used spun aluminum bun warmer is pictured in the third edition of The Collector's Encyclopedia of Russel Wright by Ann Kerr. Ann Kerr was very meticulous in her research and she included this spun aluminum bun warmer that is marked with a Mirro Aluminum stamp as being a Russel Wright design. It's entirely possible that Wright designed this piece for Mirro and it was not marked as his design, except maybe on a paper label or tag which was removed . This bun warmer has a rattan handle and a maple wood knob on the top along with 4 heat vents that can be opened or closed. It measures about 9 inches to the top of the handle and 9 3/8 inches in diameter across it's widest area. The original slotted steamer basket is inside. T is a very slight dent and scuff mark on the lid, (i tried to capture this in photo #1) other than that, this bun warmer is in new excellent condition as it is free of visable surface stains, pitting, haze and hard water marks. It is marked Mirro with #3508 underneath the base.
