Russell Wright designed this clock for Harker Pottery which manufactured and sold it for only one year, 1953. It keeps perfect time and is totally silent. The clock is Harker Pottery's charcoal gray color, weighs two pounds, and is 7 1/2 inches in "diameter." It is in perfect condition except for w it was hung by two screwed-in metal pieces which cracked the plastic on both sides of the clock at the back. The cracks are not visible when the clock is on the wall and it appears that they would be repairable with glue. At the end of the clock's short cord (about 7 inches long) is an old plastic, possibly celluloid plug called a "Handy Plug." Should it ever become necessary, the plug unscrews to make any repair work on the wires very easy. This clock is fairly rare and not only looks great with Russell Wright table settings, but is an unusual addition to a Russell Wright collection. Thanks for your interest in this item.
