A lovely Russian 14K rose gold ring. Size is 4. Amber stone is huge! Stone measures 30.5mm x 8.5mm. Is a lovely shade of amber that the rose color of the gold accentuates nicely. Russian Hallmarked. I got kind of carried away with the hallmarks picture, tried to capture it in various lights. It has a capital letter "P" and the traditional hammer & sickle old Russian symbol inside of a star, then the number 583 on one side, on the other side it looks like a stylized eagle head hallmark with a dot ORK hallmark only the R is backwards from the English way of writing it. It is a really nice ring, has a lot of eye appeal for as simple as it is. The rectangular shaped stone has some small abrasions on the corners of one end, these are not all that noticeable as I had taken numerous pictures of the ring before I even noticed them (see pictures). Very Art Deco in nature, ring could be from as far back at the 1920's or 30's. Ask questions before bidding, but bid with confidence!
