VINTAGE RUSSIAN PLAYING CARD deck CELEBRATION Very Unique Images You are bidding on a vintage Russian Deck of Playing Cards. T are markings & words in Russian all over the box, but all I can read is "Oct 29.25-77". It is a full deck of 52 cards plus 2 Jokers, 1 blank card, plus 1 extra "title" card for a total of 56 cards. I was told they were Russian "Cold War" playing cards and were purchased in USSR. Black backgrounds on the faces of the cards, elaborate ornate designs front and back, in rich golds and deep jewel colors. The face cards are amazing images. The cards are in mint condition with no tears or bent cards---except one bent corner on the queen of diamonds card. The box has some shelf wear and the original price sticker that states, "BERIOZKA, 2.10Ra8-" -(probably the store and price). Wonderful collectors deck.
