Our Lord made a promise when He appeared to St. Margaret Mary. "I will bless every place where an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored." You can be certain that wherever the place may be: in your living room, your shop or office, in the billfold you carry everywhere with you - whatever the image of the Sacred Heart may be: a Badge, a holy card, a statue or a famous portrait - you will be blessed, because you have exposed and honored it. And not you alone, but everyone who is in that place will be blessed with you. For Our Divine Lord meant it in the fullest sense when He said:
" I will bless every place in which an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored ."
The badge of the Sacred Heart calls upon Our Lord to make good His promise. When you carry it upon your person, His hands must be, as it were, extended over you in continual blessing.
