This is a nice, old sad iron with a heat shield. You don't see one with a heat shield very often. The iron is made of cast iron and the heat shield is tin. The iron is 5" long, and 4 1/2" tall overall. The shield is 4 1/8" wide and 3" from the top of the handle to the shield. Its in good condition for its age with only a couple tiny 1/8" splits on the edge of the shield. Thanks for looking.
