Vintage Sage Wedgwood Jasperware Pedestal Fruit BowlI am starting to have a clear out of Jasperware pieces I have here, ready for some new and exciting listings next week. Here is a nice collectors piece, a sage pedestal fruit bowl. Measuring approximately 13cm in height and with a rim diameter of around 20cm this substantial piece is decorated in the white bas-relief cameo images to a sage coloured body. There are three separate scenes that wrap around the slightly pushed girth. In addition to these the bowl also has floral bandings to the footing and rim sections. The piece is impress marked to its base (1974), as per the additional image. The bowl is in overall excellent condition with just one very small area of cameo loss to one figure (see images). It is actually quite difficult to see at first glance as it is not a total loss.Despite the one small flaw this is still a very good piece that displays well. It is a great shame when a piece suffers damage but, as I always say, there are two sides to any piece and the damage can be hidden. Postage applies to the UK only. NOTE - As of 30th April, Royal Mail increased their prices dramatically. As a result of this we have raised ours in line with them.
