This auction is for a Vintage Sager Chemical Double Bit Axe 1936. The head has stains and marks from use, and is stamped “Sager Chemical Axe 1936” and on the back is stamped “3²” for the weight. From bit to bit, the head measures 9 ½” and the hand-sharpened bits are 4” wide. The handle is a new replacement and is solid, ready to get to work. The overall length of this nice old axe is 26 ¾”, and it weighs in at 4 lbs. 7 oz. Examine the pictures and good luck bidding to own this Vintage Sager Chemical Double Bit Axe 1936.
