Vintage Santa and Snowman lighted ornaments 1950's

This is a set of two plastic ornaments from the 1950's. They both need work. The snowman is 7 1/2" tall and 14' diameter. His hand is holding what appears to be the original bulb. The light works. The wiring is original. It still has the original paper tag from UL Labs. He's got some deep scratches on his body which I believe you can see in the pictures. I don't know what caused them. He has what I thought was the stump of a pipe in his mouth but looking at it closely it doesn't appear that anything broke off of it so I'm thinking that it may be a cigar even though I've never seen a snowman with a cigar in his mouth. Some of the paint is missing around the top of the hat and his mittens. He has no cracks. Santa is about 8" tall and 15" in diameter. He's in pretty bad condition but with a little determination and skill you can probably get him into much better condition than he is in now. As you can see t is a piece missing from the top of his head. As a result he's got a crack running down from his head to his waist. I have not tried to glue it. He's got some yellow marks on the white paint and his face is dirty. His hat is missing some of the paint in the front as are his mittens. I don't know how to clean it so I didn't even attempt to.
