Very Unique Satsuma influenced vintage Teapot and matching cups, gold gilt peacock with light pink and blue floral's, enamel painted decorate the front of this deep green teapot, lid, and it's matching 11 cups. Teapot is musical, unfortunately I can not make out the tune. Has gold gilt handle, spout and finial top, as well as lid and teapot rim, have a band of gold gilt surrounding them. Very good condition, there are no cracks or chips on teapot or cups, has an approximate 2 cup capacity. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches tall from bottom to very top of the lid, spout alone measures approximately 2 1/4 inches from body of the teapot to the end of the spout, handle opening 2 1/2 inches at it's widest measured from the middle of the body to the widest point of opening in the handle. Base measures 3 inches across, with teapot mouth opening measuring approximately 2 inches. Matching cups are 2 1/4 inches across the top, 1 1/2 inches tall. The musical function on the teapot does work, I feel that it sounds a little slow, and I am unsure of the function of the pin mechanism on the bottom.
