SMOKE FREE HOME! This auction is offering a vintage nice Black Forest ? SCHATZ 8 DAY German made cuckoo clock . Clock is slightly darker than pictured. I purchased this clock at a farm auction. It has all the parts...2 pinecone weights, pendulum and chains. I have not tried to get the clock to run, although I don't know why it wouldn't as all parts appear to be t I didn't try to get it running simply because I don't know a thing about cuckoo clocks and didn't want to take a chance and possibly do some damage to the piece. Back is stamped 'made in Germany '. I'll try to answer any questions and please feel free to email any info that might help me understand these unique time pieces. Beautiful bird finial has 2 metal brackets that attach/remove it to the clock making shipping less stressful on the clock and will shipped with the bird finial removed.
