A nice example of one of the first radio controlled helicopters, Schluter Heli Boy 'System 80'. Looking at the receipts I think it was bought around 1979. A big one (at least to me) as it measures about 50" in overall length. I don't know if this was ever flown, I'm suspicious it wasn't as there's not obvious wear or damage (for example the drive gears are pristine) . I think the motor has been run as there's fuel residue in the tank. The motor has cast WEBRA 61 on one side, and 'Made in Austria' on the other. The canopy is unpainted, and everything looks stock. I bought this off ebay a VERY LONG time ago, intending to finish it myself, instead it's been sitting over my desk for years and years covered in dust. I hate to admit defeat, but I'll just don't have the time or money to do it right. It has servos within it, but no radio. Included is an electric starter motor (see picture), a big bag of new spare parts (blue arrow) that includes tail rotors and most all the bits that would wear or be damaged, three spare wood main rotor blades, all the directions/manuals/advertisements/guides and just a bunch of other papers. It has the original box as pictured. The cowling for cooling the engine is off the helicopter, it's in the box (yellow arrow), as is the fuel tank too.
