They will need restoration.Maker: E. Schmeckenbacher Measures: From the top of the bird to the bottom of the front trim 14". Across the widest part of the top trim 9 ½ ". Dial: 3" molded, marked W Germany Hands: good Color: excellent and all matches Top Trim: very good, no broken or re-glued spots Front Trim: very good, no broken or re-glued spots Back Door/Coil Gong: marked 5/76, West Germany 8 Day, gong is good Bellows: both appear to be ok Movement markings/condition/run time: E. Schmeckenbacher, 34/1/74, made in Germany, 76, quite clean, no rust, no broken parts, nice 8 day movement waiting to be serviced Chains: 2 good, hooks and stops here Pendulum: plastic but so is the cuckoo bird door so I believe it is original and it came with it Weights: missing Overall Condition: much lighter finish on this, what is here looks like new, just a very nice 8 day clock waiting for servicing What you see in the pictures is what we have.Check the pictures carefully.We combine items for shipping.We are selling this item as we sell all of our items in non running condition.I know very little about these but have taken a lot of pictures, hope they can answer your questions. What they do is figure what it will cost to send this item to the farthest distance away and add that to the starting price. I feel that this is deceptive. They tell us that the buyer will not know the difference, they only look at the free part. We charge actual shipping and one dollar for the materials, which over the year only covers 75% of the costs and we refund any amount over one dollar of the actual shipping and handling.
