This auction is for VINTAGE Schmidt Beer "covered wagon" Motion lamp. The lamp and motion work great. The lamp shade FRONT is PLASTIC w the beer name-Schmidt is printed & buffalo,milk cows,barn,hay, grass field & farm pond are pictured. On the GOLD colored PLASTIC ends is printed -Schmidt. Printed on the front near the bottom is-"The Brew that Grew with the Great Northwest!". Below in the right hand corner is printed- Jacob Schmidt Brewing Co. St. Paul,Minn. Schmidt brewing and the Hamm's Brewery were the 2 big breweries in Minnesota. Some of the color has worn off the plastic on the front-especially across the top & on the sky scene. The back of the motion lamp is cream colored & made of METAL.T are MINOR paint scrapes T is a hole for hanging(3/4" x 1/2") near the middle of the back. T are (6) 1/2" circle holes near the top for ventilation. The BASE of the lamp holder is gold metal so can be set on a television or shelf .On the METAL bottom of the lamp is stamped- R.R. Noland Co. Advertising Signs and Displays -348 McKnight Bldg.? Minneapolis,Minn.The brown cord is good. It has a click on/off Gilbert shock/proof line switch.
