From Nana's Doll Collection! This is a very old Schoenhut wooden elephant from the "Humpty Dumpty" Circus collection. It is in excellent condition showing only minor wear to the paint overall. The end of the trunk is still in place but has dried up and is shriveled. The tusks which appear to be made of leather are intact but have wear to the paint. The ears appear to be made of a painted canvas material. The eyes are painted on and have wear. The tail is made of twine. The mouth is painted red. All moveable parts are still strung well. This piece measures approximately 9" long x 6-3/4" tall x 3" wide. Please keep in mind that I am not an expert on dolls or antique toys.
