The binding is very solid. The ribbon tip has lite wear. The present to and family pages are written on. The gold trim has some shelf wear and scuffs but is still shiny as seen in the pictures. The pages flip nicely. The blank page in the back has a line of writing. Some of the thumb indexes are missing. I flipped through the pages many times and found no other markings, though I may have missed something but I don't think so. God Bless!P.S.
