VINTAGE SCOTTISH CELTIC SILVER VIKING SHIP PLAID SHIELD BROOCH - BURN's NIGHT ACCESSORY This heavy traditional plaid brooch is stamped 'SILVER' and tests fully as sterling silver - it dates back to the at least the 1950s and is probably earlier. It is very similar to a Robert Allison design.The detailed Celtic design features a central Viking ship/boat surrounded by Celtic symbols.It measures 4.9cm across, has a secure rollover type clasp & weighs an impressive 26.8g.This brooch would be a stylish addition to a man's or woman's outfit for a Burn's night celebration. This is a 'Buy it Now' item so if you like it don't delay - it may not be here when you come back.I have listed several similar pieces including kilt pins with Burn's night (25th January) in mind. .........................................
