This is a set of 4 vintage Japanese prints which, side-by-side, will make a large signed mural. The fourth print has the signature. Each print measures approximately 38" x 24 1/2" (96.5cm x 62cm). The mural or framed area would be sized approximately 38" high by 98" long (a little over 8 feet). They could be individually framed and be equally as impressive.

We are not art experts but will describe to the best of our ability.

Although we believe they are prints, they do have the look of being watercolors. These are beautiful scenes of the mountains and water with people, boats, buildings, birds and trees. Please note that the photos were taken with a slightly smaller acrylic sheet overlay. This has created some glare and you will see the top ends curled slightly. The spots or streaks on the pics are just glare from the use of this overlay and it was intended to keep the prints flat for the photos. They have been rolled up and stored away for many years and will ship to you that way in a sturdy tube.

The condition is quite good considering the apparent age. These were purchased at a good, old-fashioned rural farm auction. As a result, t are a few slight creases at the tops from various folks handling and unrolling them but that should not affect their show. No major rips or tears. The actual age is not known.

These are wonderful scenes of Japanese life long ago. Some close-ups follow each of the panels. The first picture displays all 4 together in the order that they would appear in a mural or frame but please note that they are not crooked as shown. This was the only way we could photograph them due to the size and avoid as much glare as possible.
