A Matched Set Of 4 Vintage Barley Legged Tall Back Dining Chairs from England. The legs and risers are all in good shape and all of these little darling's are all quite steady. They all are well made and in overall good condition and quite sturdy. T is no doubt that these chairs have been refinished. I would say they had been refinished by the exporter before they shipped and ever who did it, did a good job. They all have some very nice wood grains showing through-out the chairs. They have very few dings and very few scratches and the finish that's on them now will last for years to come. Each chair is 16 7/8" wide at the fronts tapering to 14 1/2" at the backs and are 14 3/4" deep at the seats and the seats are 18 1/4" off the floor. Overall they are 38" tall. The seat coverings are in very good condition also. They don't have any rips, holes or tears. If you don't like the fabric, they have "pop out seats", which means it would take about 2 yards or less of your favorite fabric, a staple gun and about 2 hours or less to recover them. They still will hold up to daily use for many years to come. The Barley Twist Drawleaf Table shown is also listed on eBay this week, they look real good together!
