On the back is marked "Lynton-1W Model No. E511-003 Seth Thomas Clocks Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A." On the inside is "A200-D33 5308". T is "5309" stamped on the base of the clock.
We bought this clock from an antique estate sale and since I don't collect or work on clocks, I will tell you what I know about the clock: It seems to keep good time when sitting level but it only chimes on the half-hour. It didn't chime on the hour. I'm sure a clock collector or someone who works on these will know how to adjust it.
The clock is beautiful. The dark wood is in great condition with a very nice inlay stripe on the lower part. The stamped directions are on the inside of the back door.
Hopefully someone will be able to give this lovely clock a good home and maybe get it to chime properly.
