we have a large Seth Thomas Navy Ships Clock with a brass face and reflects both 12 and 24 hours times. The face of the clock measures 8" and the case measures 10 1/4" edge to edge. The case appears to have been repainted at one point, but is in nice condition. None of the mounting holes are broken out, and it opens and closes with ease. The hinge is a little loose, but totally intact. On the brass face below the center it reads U. S. Navy with a number below that that reads 100762. Above the center is the name Seth Thomas, and above that name is a small adjusting wheel for making exacting adjustments to the accuracy of the time. The winding key is with the clock as you can see in the pictures. I can not make any claims that this clock is all original in any way, as I was stationed aboard a Sub Tender during my Navy term (1972-1976), as an Instrumentman, and one of my best buddies was the watch and clock technician. He reworked this clock and that is how I ended up with it. I can however say that it was one of the few I ever saw him work on that had a completely brass face, unlike the painted ones you see most of the time. T is no reserve, as I will leave it up to the bidders to place read more
