Vintage Sewing Box - 50s 60s Atomic - Wood and Metal - London Lovely vintage sewing box, from 1950s. Plywood with metal atomic legs. Deep wood colour, similar to teak. Compartment under lid, which is removable and slides across the length of the box. Perfect for storing threads, bobbins, needles etc. Large area underneath, perfect for storing knitting wool. knitting needles and larger sewing accessories. Very good overall condition, some light scratches but sound construction. Very sturdy but relatively lightweight so quite portable. Would be beautiful either sanded and varnished, or painted in a lovely bright colour. Measures 20" across x 10" deep x 21" high. COLLECTION Item is bulky, so collection only from Walthamstow London.
