This is a draft-at-home pattern for a stunning French evening or cocktail dress from the 1940's. The gown features a lovely slim silhouette with a short sleeve and open neckline. The long, slim skirt is ornamented with a wide, contrasting sash tied in a large drape at the back.--Recommended fabrics: velvet for the dress, taffeta for the sash.This dress has so many uses.
