Here are a couple of vintage oil stones in metal boxes. One is by the Carborundum Company of Niagara Falls NY. The box measures 8 1/2 by 2 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches tall. It is a fine stone that is fixed in the lid. The box top has 4 little sharp points in the corners to grab the wood work bench when in use. I would avoid using the stone on the nice dinning room table if you don't want your wife to have a fit. The other stone is marked Combination Oilstone Wards Master Quality. That box is 12" by 3 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches tall. The stone is 2 sided. This box has a piece of some sort of felt like material in the bottom for hold the oil. Both stones are in decent shape but could use a bit of dressing. Offered with a low start and no reserve.
