The item for sale is a vintage Shawnee Pottery Smiley Pig cookie jar. This piece has the hard to find yellow neckerchief variation with gold accents and flower decoration. The top half of the jar is all good with no chips ,breaks or cracks with very light wear. The bottom half of the jar has some edge wear and surface wear with a couple of tight spider web lines and a small chip under the front edge of the toe(see pics). That said, this piece is solid, quality made and signed USA on the base. This piece measures approx. 12 inches tall. This would be a super addition to any cookie jar collection.
