SHAWNEE POTTERY COMPANY Winnie Pig Red collar, hooves and ears - Gold trim Up for your consideration we are offering this lovely piece of Shawnne pottery - "Winnie Pig" Cookie Jar - circa 1940's. Shawnee Pottery Company, Zanesville, Ohio closed in 1962. These endearing cookie jars are still warming hearts today. Winnie is ready to go to town - wearing a fashionable hat with blue flowers and three leaf clovers on it, a creamy white coat with a ruffled red collar, and matching handbag with a blue pedal flower. She has also has red hooves. She is trimmed in metallic gold, including her three buttons. She is in excellent condition outwardly. I do detect a chip on the bottom that measures 3/8" X 3/8"(see Pic) and two hairlines on the bottom inside of the lid, less than 1/4" (also in pics). She measures 11-1/2 tall x 7-1/2 wide and is marked USA on the bottom. She will be the talk of the town!
