Fountain pen for auction is a white dot Sheaffer Imperial VI in bluish gray color, produced in a short period from 1961-62 according to online sources. It is identified by its polished stainless steel cap and molded plastic barrel with the squared-off end similar to the Sheaffer Pen for Men. The innerspring clip is gold-filled with a white dot at the top. The inlaid nib is hallmarked as 14K gold. The section has three mounting points for the cap. This is one of the earlier Imperials with the Touchdown filler rather than the cartridge filler. The length capped is 5 1/4 inches. The weight is 0.7 ounce. This pen has only very light wear on the cap and barrel. It is in very good to excellent condition. T are no personal engravings on the pen.
