Vintage Sheaffer Stratowriter Lighted Pen Display Case

Offered from my personal collection is a unique is a Sheaffer Stratowriter pen case in working condition. This is the type of case one might see in an oldtime drug store sitting on the counter, or perhaps a jewelery store. The overall length is 27 inches, approx 11 inches deep, and approximately 12 inches high. The lighted glass Sheaffer's Stratowriter is 21 X 7 inches, and lights up a desirable colbolt blue, with white writing, and a gold colored pen. The red velvet lined 32 slot slide out pen display box is approx 21 inches long , 10 inches deep, and is powered by a 20 inch flouresent bulb. In addition to the glass Sheaffer sign, is a glass top that covers the pen display box, and a frosted glass top covering the flouresent bulb. This case is in excellent working condition, and I notice no humming noise from the light. The velvet red pen case lining is in good condition, but does show signs of wear on the top ridges. The blonde colored case is structually sound, and is in acceptable condition. However, t are some random small wood indentations, and chipping of the finish. I will leave refinishing to you, if that is your desire. I purchasd this case 15 years ago at an antique store for a considerable price. It was used to display some of the pens in my personal collection. I'm in the downsizing stage right now, and frankly do not have the space to properly use this case. It would be nice to display your collection too, or it would be great to use as originally intended; to display vintage pens for sale in a store.
