Vintage Shearwater Pottery Teapot with Blue Glaze No Reserve!! This auction is for a rare piece of Shearwater pottery, a teapot featuring an amazing blue glaze. The piece measures 6" tall, and 8" from handle to spout, featuring a very cool deco look. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, fleabites, crazing or scratches. Correctly marked on the bottom with the Shearwater HALF MOON mark, which as all collectors know, predates the modern JA mark, making it somew in the 1920s-40s era. Never used, no crazing no chips no cracks no repairs. The Older Shearwater pieces are the Ohr of the future!! I read that these pieces could be attributed to Mac Anderson.
