A true gem for the collector. This is a Shatz ship clock made of thick heavy brass. Made in Germany. The glass door is very thick as well. The clock will tic for a few seconds then stops. I think it needs cleaning and serviced. The wood shows some chips and age, and some of the little gold rings around the handles are loose. Comes with a key. Now the best part, this clock was given to Leutenant Commander K.G. Robertson of the U.S. Coast Guard, for service from 1964-1966 in the Phillipines. If you or anyone you know served under this commander than this is a must have for you or them. It also has some numbers inscribed on the back of the clock which I have no idea what they mean. A sweet piece for the collector or coast guardsman that may have served under this commander. Shipping will be 18.99 Standard Shipping.
