This listing is for a beautiful ship's captain's decanter with a pretty "mushroom style" stopper. I am not an expert but I believe this is crystal. The decanter is very heavy weighing almost four and a half pounds. Measurements are approximately 10 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide at the base. When held up to the light you can see rainbow colors. I must have looked at every decanter I could find on the internet and could not find another decanter in this style. Seriously, if anyone knows the maker of this liquor decanter, I would really like to know. The only flaw this decanter has is the stopper has a small chip or line. It is smooth, so I am not sure if it came that way from the factory or happened after purchase. Please see the 10th picture which shows the flaw.
