This is a Vintage HTF Collectible Vintage Shur Snap Pocket Folding Big Jack Knife Button with lariat loop. NR. NO RESERVE This knife comes from my grandfather's toy and hobby store stock. My grandparent's had toy and hobby stores for 50 years from 1946-1996. They sold knives as well as fishing, hobby stuff. This knife looks unused but it has been stored for decades. SEE PHOTOS. The knife blade is in great shape and works smoothly. Blade moves smoothly and locks. Great action and snap. I believe it's stainless steel. You probably know better than me. T is discoloration on an edge on the blade. SEE PHOTO. It has not been used or cleaned as far as I can tell. T is some discoloration on the blade on the part that peeks out when it is closed. SEE PHOTOS. I'll leave the cleaning up to you. This knife is in great condition! The blade moves great along with the button action and the lock mechanism. The button is recessed a little. I've heard that the springs under it get shot and need to be replaced. This knife is just 4 in. long closed and just over 7 1/8 in. with blade open. On the blade is: SHUR-SNAP COLONIAL PROV. U.S.A. The handle looks so much better in person than in the photos, more wine color. The scales are plastic and sit away from the metal with a gap as you look at the profile. SEE PHOTO. Great collectible.
